Conditions of renting a holiday home

1. RESERVATIONS

Our accommodations will be rented in the order of reservations. In any case you will receive a confirmation by e-mail/fax/mail. The reservation will be definitive and valid for both parties once received the contract signed by the customer and the first payment within seven days after confirming the reservation. Then Habitat Marenostrum (H.M./Gepugova S.L.) will send the contract signed back to you.

2. PRICES

The rental price includes the tourist tax and environmental fee. The normal consumption of water, electricity, gas and air conditioning are also included during the summer season (from May to September). The cost of service/finalcleaning is excluded. Extras such as sheets, towels, beach-/sunbedtowels, Wi-Fi, cot/babychair etc. will be paid in cash upon delivery of the keys according to individual contracts.

3. BEDLINEN AND TOWELS

The bedlinen and towels are not included in the rental price. If you want, you can rent them according to the rates with H.M./Gepugova S.L. You also have the option to bring your personal scheets and towels, if necessary we will provide you the sizes of the beds of the rented accommodation.

4. NUMBER OF PEOPLE

The rental price is based on the places/beds available in each accommodation. In general there is usually room for an extra bed/cot depending on the size of the house/apartment. For these cases, there is a supplement based on each accommodation.

5. PAYMENTS

To confirm a reservation, the first payment (25% of total rent) shall be paid into the bank account of H.M./Gepugova S.L. within 7 days after the booking confirmation. The contract must be signed and returned to H.M./Gepugova S.L. by e-mail/fax/mail. The second payment (25%) shall be payed 3 months and the rest (50%) one month before arrival. For bookings made within 4 weeks prior to arrival day, must be payed the entire stay upon receipt of written confirmation.

6. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

In high season, i.e. from June to September, the day of arrival and departure is always Friday or Saturday, depending on the accommodation. The homes will always be available from 4 p.m. Admission is between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Outside these hours there will be an extra charge according to the price list. On the day of departure the accommodation shall be left before 10 a.m.

7. DEPOSIT

On arrival you must leave a deposit in cash for the accommodation. The amount is indicated in your lease (usually between 300.- € and 500.- €). If upon arrival, despite our previous review, there are missing items or damage, you must inform us immediately. So we avoid possible extra charges. If any damage occurs during your stay, the amount will be deducted from the deposit. Any damage must be reported immediately that we can repair it or request a budget. If there are no damages at the departure, the entire deposit will be refunded, also in cash.

8. CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must be communicated written to H.M./Gepugova S.L. In no case the payments already made are returned. We recommend that you hire a travel insurance in your country.

9. PETS

In most houses is allowed 1 pet. The lodging is free, there is only a small charge of 25.- € for the final cleaning. In the information of each accommodation is indicated if pets are accepted. By booking you must inform us about your pet, if not so, H.M./Gepugova S.L. has the right to refuse the entry to the house. The pets are not allowed to swim in the pool.

10. SERVICE / CLEANING

The final cleaning costs are in the lease. The amount depends on each accommodation and number of occupants. This service is always paid in cash upon delivery of keys. the customer must throw the garbage. The dishwasher must be empty and the barbecue, toaster, microwave and oven clean. If these requirements are not fulfilled, H.M./Gepugova S.L. has the right to deduct the cost of the bail.

11. WATER, GAS AND ELECTRICITY

The consumption of water, gas and electricity is included in the price during the summer season (between May and September). In winter season from October to April the electricity and gas are paid according to consumption.

12. COMPLAINTS

If you, despite our detailed and regular control of the accommodation, detect any problems, you shall immediately notify H.M./Gepugova S.L. so that we can fix the problem. Complaints that have not been satisfactorily resolved, must be submitted written within a week after departure, not later.

13. LIABILITY

During the stay, the customer is responsible for the house and its contents. Any damage caused by the client, in the home or its contents shall be notified immediately to H.M./Gepugova S.L.
and they will be charged to the customer. The agency is only an intermediary between homeowners and clients and therefore is not liable for accidents or damage caused by guests during their stay.

14. WI-FI

Most our accommodations have a Wi-Fi connection that can be hired for 30.- €/week/6 PINS. With this system from the operator Altanetica you can browse unlimited in the house/apartment and on the beach promenade of Sant Antoni de Calonge. However, the speed and quality of the connection can be changed depending on the service provider and/or location of the accommodation, it’s not guaranteed by us.

15. SMOKING

Smoking is not prohibited in our accommodations, however we recommend that you smoke outside and use an ashtray. We hope you to clean the ashtray before departure.

16. LOST/FORGOTTEN AND FOUND OBJECTS

If a tenant loses an object, we will do everything possible to find it again. Possible management and sending fees are charged to the customer.
